Q: How many students attend the university?
As of fall 2007, 33,240 students attended Wayne State University: 21,145 undergraduates and 12,095 graduate students.

Q: Where do WSU students come from?
Approximately 80 percent of Wayne State students come from the surrounding metro Detroit areas, and nearly 9 percent are from outside of the United States.

Q: Where are you located?
Wayne State University is located in Detroit's University Cultural Center, just 10 minutes from downtown and the Detroit River. We are conveniently accessed via I-94, I-75 or the Lodge Freeway. For directions click here.

Q: Is parking difficult?
Wayne State currently offers 6,800 parking spaces for students, guests and visitors in seven parking structures and 44 surface lots. Most visitors will want to park in the Welcome Center garage located at Putnam Street and Cass Avenue. The parking fee for students with a WSU OneCard is $2.25 per day in most structures/lots.
