Student receives Outstanding Student Engineer of the Year award

Luke Popiel, a student in the Electrial and Computer Engineering Department, has been selected as the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) 2012 Outstanding Student Engineer of the Year.

As such, he will receive a $1,000 stipend, which will be presented to him at the Society's annual dinner at the Fillmore on June 27.
