Exploratory tracks

It’s important to declare your major as soon as possible. But if you’re not ready to make that decision right away, exploratory tracks can help you narrow your focus.

  • Receive advising support while exploring different majors across a number of academic fields.
  • Satisfy general education requirements while taking focused courses in a subject area that appeals to you.

Each track is limited to 45 credit hours or less, after which you must declare a major. Be sure to meet with an advisor before switching to a different exploratory track.
