Structure
Wayne State offers more than 400 academic and certificate programs for graduates and undergraduates, as well as professional degrees in pharmacy, business, law and medicine. The University has the nation’s largest single-campus medical school, and partners with numerous specialty hospitals, health systems and research centers in training a high percentage of Michigan’s physicians, as well as health care providers who practice throughout the nation.
The University is organized into 13 colleges and schools:

Accreditations
Since 1915, Wayne State University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of six regional accrediting agencies in the United States that provides accreditation to colleges and universities at the institutional level.
Academic programs are accredited through their respective national professional organizations.
