Campus Tour

Come on over; we’d love to show you around. Our one-hour walking tour of campus is available at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays, rain, snow or shine. On your tour you’ll get the inside scoop on what campus and academic life is like by a current student. Your Warrior Guide will answer any questions you have about Wayne State and an admission counselor will talk about what it takes to be admitted to the university. Walk-ins welcome!

The tour stays on main campus. If you're interested in the School of Medicine campus or Matthaei Athletic Complex, you should contact those departments directly.

All tours depart from the Welcome Center. Get directions to campus. Visitor parking in structure 6 costs a maximum of $10 per day – both cash and credit/debit cards are accepted as a form of payment.

College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts

Several departments within the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts also offer tours outside of the general walking tour of campus. Check out the department's website to find the tour that's right for you! Choose from Art and Art History, Dance, Music, or Theatre. Check these sites often as each department posts updated visit opportunities.

College of Engineering

The College of Engineering offers tours on select dates. Meet with engineering students, faculty and advisors while you tour the Danto Development Center and check out our research being conducted in the labs. Register for a College of Engineering tour before you come to campus.
